Lynnwood Elementary School has a
strong tradition of academic excellence and athletic and Fine Arts
opportunities. The school offers regular elementary programs, a
Challenge program for gifted children, an International
Baccalaureate Middle Years Program for year 6, and a special
education program for children with special needs. As well, Oxford
Daycare is located within the school providing out-of-school care.
Lynnwood School has an exceptional staff, supportive and
caring parents, services a vibrant and diverse student population,
and is a focal point for the Lynnwood community. We invite anyone
interested in our grades K-6 Regular, Challenge or Special Needs
Programs for the 2008-2009 year to visit the school. The school
office re-opens August 27th, 2008 should you require
further information about the school and its programs.
We also wish to advise, our school principal,
Mrs. Marilyn Tywoniuk is retiring and we welcome our new
administrator Mr. Bill Godfrey.
